Zac Efron and Claire Danes made a guest appearance on The View today to promote their new film Me & Orson Welles (can't wait!). Barbara Walters jumped right into it asking Mr. Efron (looking less plastic than ever, thanksfully) about his Sexiest Man Alive "Best Chest" Win. Joy hilariously then proceeded to refer to Barb as Mrs. Robinson.
Then the interview went on to Claire's marriage to the (again) quite lovely Hugh Dancy, but luckily passed onto the topic of the film. Zac talks about how he was pretty nervous about the role – as he should be, after doing things like High School Musical and 17 Again – and working with Claire Danes (who is lovely in Evening, even if the film itself was pretty wonky).
P.S. I hate when The View interviews stars collectively. Too many mouths talking (always) at once – and with really bad jokes (“An incredibly body of work”). Take a look for yourself:
