By now, you've probably seen the video of Adam Lambert's AMA performance. If not, good luck finding it because Dick Clark Productions is quickly taking if off of Youtube. In case you missed it, Adam Lambert's performance was provocative to say the least. "I bet you thought I was soft and sweet," Lambert sang. No, he is not.
Adam Lambert's performance was hot, scandalous, and pushed the envelope. A couple highlights included Adam Lambert making out with his male keyboardist (ouch, and it looked like the guy got smashed into his face), and grinding against other performers. I give it two thumbs up. Why not? The song was "eh", but the performance was fun. Personally, I think Adam Lambert is catching more flack because he's gay. This type of performance is nothing new. Doesn't anyone remember Prince and his performances from the 1980s????
Why is it our society welcomes violence on TV but is in a stir over anything involving sexuality? Do you think Adam Lambert's AMA performance was too hot for TV?
