News out of Florida earlier today was that champion golfer Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident outside his home. Early reports had him first seriously injured in the accident, but now we know the man suffered from minor injuries.
No charges have been filed in the incident yet, and there is no word of alcohol being involved. Charges are current pending however. The golfer's wife was inside their home when it happened, and she ran out to help him. She reportedly broke through the car window with one of the golfer's own clubs.
The incident actually occurred early in the hours of Friday morning, slightly after 2:30am. It is reported he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree. His SUV was the only car involved. The man is reported to have cuts on his face and mouth. Tiger is set to host a golfing tournament next week in California, and there is no word yet whether or not he would cancel his appearance or not.
