Brittany Murphy dead at the age of 32

ActressÂ Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from the home belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack in Los Angeles.

She was 32.

Murphy was taken toÂ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and was pronounced dead on arrival.

She is known for such movies as,Clueles s,Â 8 Mile,Â Don't Say a Word,Uptown Girls, and did the voice of Gloria inÂ Happy Feet.

I am very saddened to hear about this news. I woke up to a text fromÂ TMZ about it. I had to see if it was true and scoured the Internet for the truth, but site after site told me the same thing...Brittany Murphy is dead. I will do an update later as more news becomes available.

UPDATE: A hospital spokeswoman hasÂ officiallyÂ confirmed that Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32.
