On the heels of her tragic passing, internet users are already searching for a Brittany Murphy death photo. Though I have no interest in looking for it, I'm embarrassed to admit that if someone said to me, "Hey, look at this!" I'd likely to be curious to check out Britney Murphy or another celebrity's death photo.
How is it that we've become so desensitized to death that we want to see a gruesome photo of someone's daughter ready for her grave? Is it the car wreck syndrome where we can't turn away? Are we just naturally curious to see an inevitable part of life that is unusual to witness? Or is it pure entertainment?
