Brittany Murphy's funeral was held on Christmas eve after the actress died of a heart attack last Sunday. She was laid to rest in a twilight ceremony at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills. This is the same cemetery where Michael Jackson was laid to rest not too long ago.  Her husband, Simon Monjack, gave a eulogy in which he described her as his best friend and "soul mate". A Christian minister and a rabbi presided over the service. It included the hymn Amazing Grace and the Kaddish, a traditional Jewish mourning prayer. The ceremony ended with a reading from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
Her family released a statement that read: "Brittany was an incredibly loving and passionate person and an artist to her core - she loved acting, singing, dancing and performing.
"A bright light that lit the world is forever dimmed, but will live on in the hearts of those that Brittany touched."
