Former super model Tyra Banks announced in a blog entitled Fans of The Tyra Show on her website that her daytime talk show will be ending in the spring of 2010.
"This will be the last season of The Tyra Show. I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years...I'm a bit nervous and excited for my next HUGE step which will allow me to reach MORE women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are!"

After five seasons and two Emmys, Banks will trade in her afternoon chat fests for more ambitious projects like the launch of her new film production company Bankable Studios. Based in New York, Bankable Studios will produce films with just as much charm and girl power as Banks herself. Banks aims to bring "positive images of women to the big screen," according to a People Magazine industry insider.
Can't live without Tyra's motivational pep talks? Well, she's still got you covered. Banks will continue to move forward on projects such as America's Next Top Model- a show which has revolutionized the image of modeling by crowning a plus size model and featuring models under the industry standard height and the ABC show True Beauty- a modeling competition where contestants are secretly judged on their character and "inner beauty" rather than their good looks.
