Mariah Carey People’s Choice Awards 2010...

On the People’s Choice Awards 2010 red carpet, Mariah Carey addressed her recent scandalous acceptance speech at the Palm Springs Film Festival. MC set the record straight with ET’s Cojo saying, “This is not my first scandal” and continuing, “We were having fun, having champagne, having a good time ... and we got up on stage and the way we are, our rapport, is just like silliness. ... It was kind of a mess of celebrating and having a good time and then getting onstage."

Shame on everyone for coming down on Mariah Carey for having a good time and celebrating. She was drinking in a safe environment, not out on the streets driving a car. Last I knew, it was legal to enjoy a glass (or two, or three) of alcohol when you're not behind the wheel. I’m sure many of you spend your weekends doing it! You'd think Mariah Carey flashed the audience with the way people are reacting.
