SPOILER ALERT!!! Leaked Footage from the Season...

Okay, I contemplated long and hard before watching this video and I suggest everyone else do the same. Â What you will see here is the final 2 minutes of the season 5 finale of the most fabulous TV show of all time, LOST, followed by the first 2 minutes of the season 6 (and final season) premiere. Â While it's only 2 minutes and difficult to determine how the rest of the 2 hour premiere will go, it is still enough to get people talking! Â I cannot emphasize enough that this is a SPOILER ALERT! Â Can you wait 4 days to see 2 minutes or do you want to see it now? Â I leave it to you to decide:

I think the producers said a lot when they said the premier was scheduled, quite appropriately, for Groundhog's Day. I think they were referring to the movie, with the implications that brings with it. Juliette's detonation of the bomb was a reset, but the scene on the plane contained subtle differences from the scene in season 1, aside from the obvious big difference. I'm left wondering whether the scene at the 4-toed statue will result in another kind of reset, and whether the actions of Jack and the other 815ers in the reset will result in yet another reset. The mind boggles. I'm looking forward to the premier.

In one of the cast interviews in Hawaii this week, someone (I think it was Evie Lilly) suggested that the new storytelling technique this season is going to be something that might be called "flash-sideways!" Prior to hearing that, I had been thinking that all or most of the Losties would end up back in L.A., and we'd slowly find out that even though they weren't on the island, their destinies were still the same (e.g. Boone will die, Locke will be healed somehow, etc.). And that ultimately these events off-island would lead them back to the same fate on the island.

BUT, now that I've heard the idea of "flash-sideways" I'm thinking you are right, Mike, and that for awhile we're going to be dabbling in parallel universes, perhaps something similar to what Desmond went through! Wow, dude, awesome! :-) LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Can't wait to see how this all unfolds! I have faith in Damon and Carlton.
