Actor Rip Torn, born Feb. 6, 1931, was arrested for robbing a bank in Connecticut while intoxicated and carrying a loaded gun. Rip Torn has had many problems with alcohol, and as been arrested before due to intoxication, but now, he went federal with bank robbery. He is best known for his best supporting actor emmy for his role in "Cross Creek" in 1983, and his role in "Men in Black." He has a long career as an actor of stage and screen.
His bank robbery charge in Salisbury, Conn. has him arrested and in jail on $100,000 bond and he is scheduled to see the judge, Monday.
