Former "Boston Legal" star Justin Mentell died in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The 27-year-old actor, who played Garrett Wells on "Boston Legal," reportedly drove his Jeep on Moscow Road near Madison before swerving off the roadway and hitting two trees. Mentell, who was alone in the vehicle and wasn't wearing a seatbelt during the crash, was thrown from the Jeep.
The accident is believed to have occurred after 3 a.m. Monday and Mentell was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
In Mentell's brief acting career, he appeared in movies such as "'77" and "Palo Alto, CA" and did voiceover work for the animated film "G-Force."
