Last night, Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Anne Hathaway and the rest of the Alice in Wonderland bunch went goth at Hot Topic, the Hollywood and Highland shop devoted to all things black and gloomy.
In fact, Alice and her tribe were well represented at this boutique that has been transformed into an actual rabbit hole, complete with the Hall of Doors, the Mushroom Forest, and the Red Queen's Court (where the mantra there, printed in giant letters surrounding dressing room red velvet curtains, is "Off with your clothes"). There's even a Mad Matter tea party room devoted (see video below for the full tour).
Speaking of The Mad Hatter, Johnny Depp was on hand at Hot Topic for what was called "The Great Big Ultimate Fan Event" celebrating the upcoming Tim Burton film, "Alice in Wonderland."
Fans joined with Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway (The White Queen), Helena Bonham Carter (The Red Queen), Crispin Glover (The Knave of Hearts), Mia Wasikowska (Alice) and director Tim Burton for some Q&As. Afterwards, aconcert featuring bands like Metro Station (see slideshow below) performed from the soon-to-released "Almost Alice" album.
"Alice in Wonderland" the movie will enjoy its world premiere in London on February 25, while the film, created in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D, goes wide in theaters on March 5.
