Oprah Winfrey was being sued by Nomvuyo Mzamane for defamation of character based on a 2007 case whereby the head mistress of Oprah Winfrey's South African School had a sex scandal.
Some comments were made by Oprah Winfrey which led to the lawsuit. There was to be a trial in Pennsylvania this Monday, but Oprah Winfrey and the headmistress, Ms. Nomvuyo Mzamane met face to face and settled out of court.
Oprah Winfrey with her money started a school for girls in South Africa called Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
No good deed goes unpunished Oprah. You should know that by now. The settlement is an undisclosed amount of money.
