Jake Pavelka's ex-girlfriend, Tanya Douglas told Life & Style that Pavelka's real reasons for joining 'The Bachelor' was because he was out of money and desperate for the fame being a reality TV star would bring.
As shocking as this information is, Douglas went on to show texts she'd received from Pavelka throughout the show and even after Pavelka's proposal to Vienna Girardi.
One of the most shocking things Douglas said was: "He said, 'Everything I was looking for I've found in you... A few months later, he told me he was having financial problems... He told me, 'I know a way I can get out of this financial burden -- I could be the Bachelor. Maybe I can persuade the producers to let you be on the show and be one of the 25 contestants, and then it's rigged for me the whole time, and in the end we can still be together and have the money."
Douglas also stated that Pavelka received $500,000 to be on the show.
If this is true, wow, what a shame Pavelka really seem like a great solid guy but texts don't lie. Pavelka hasn't responded to Douglas' claims and has continued acting like he's happily in love with Vienna Girardi. I really like Pavelka on 'The Bachelor' and I like him still as he dances around on Dancing with the Star but if these accusations are true... I'm not going to be a fan anymore, that's for sure.
Wonder why Pavelka won't just speak up... hmmm...
