David Hasselhoff returns to "Young and the Restless" (VIDEO)

The Hoff is back.

David Hasselhoff began his career as a young actor on one of the soap operas in its day. He starred on the show as Dr. William "Snapper" Foster Jr., from 1975-1982. And, that's who he will be.

Hasselhoff's characters initially left for a three-month fellowship in London and just never came back.

Perhaps after all this time he realized he has some unfinished business.

I watched it years ago, but I do remember thinking that I loved the name snapper, and that he was really, cute, but I don't think he will have the same effect these days.
