If they are in love, they should be honest about it. I know Kristen says she just wants to keep something for herself, but that sounds like a studio marketing ploy. Every young person in love wants everybody to know about it. It's just the nature of the love beast. Besides they are getting on my nerves. If they are a thing they should just go for it. The paps and the fans never kept Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams from showing their love.
Sure they broke up, but I will never be convinced it had anything to do with the publicity. Ryan even consoled his fans. He says he loves Rachel and always will but they just had issues that they weren't able to work out. So what? If a breakup gossip is what is keeping these two so skiddish, they should get over it. Gossip is going to happen regardless of the situation. I hate to see them thinking they have to hide it, because they don't. Nobody really cares anyway, after a while it'll all die down. If this is all for publicity for the movies, well they are just sad to go along with it. They should be more secure in their performances. They are both great actors and will be around for a long while.

You have some true statements. I too believe they need to be secure in there performances and grow in their craft. It will die down in the next few years after Breaking Dawns movie(s) I was thinking it would be very odd to have to work with someone that you didn't care for in these type of movies and with all the pressure . I have read some things about Robert P that makes him sound so insecure and afraid of being an actor and he mentions his music and wanting to do that. ( by the way I have heard some of his "singing", I think he needs to stay in acting!) Maybe since Kristen S has been in the biz since she was a little girl gives him an anchor he hasn't experienced since he started acting. If there is something more there... well, time will tell. He is starting to work with Reese Witherspoon and hopefully gain more experience while working with quality actors will help him. Just some thoughts....I still feel sorry for them.

Oh by the way... on Oprah... she said on May 13th I think.. that the cast from Eclipse will be on!

Robert is also working with some pretty great actors in Bel Ami. Chrisin Scott Thomas, Christina Ricci and Uma Thurman. He was fantastic in Remember Me. I read it's doing better. I think 50 million worldwide is pretty impressive considering it's his first movie after Twilight. I think Bel Ami will be really good, I read the book years ago, but the one I really can not wait to see is Water For Elephants. That book was awesome and I understand the script is really great too. I know it must be hard to make a relationship work when both actors are working all the time and trying to make their careers, but some have done it pretty well, I see no reason why Robert and Kristen can't, but they are at some point going to have to admit to being together.

You know if they don't admit to a relationship after the Eclipse movie comes out, I just don't think they ever will.
What part does Uma Thurman play in Bel Ami?? Water for Elephants I am not familar with, is Robert P part a leading part or supporting? He will be playing with 2 oscar winners, no pressure there!

Uma Thurman plays the wife and writing partner of his best friend who is a journalist and gets Georges Duroy a job at the paper that he works for. He dies and then Georges Duroy marries her, and divorces her due to an adultress affair, which is ironic because he is messsing around with two other women. Water For Elephants is a great book by Sara Gruen, I got it at my local library. RP plays the Vet (polish heritage) for the circus and falls in love with the schiszophrenic ( not sure I spelled that right ) animal directors wife. It takes place during the great depression. I loved the book and I can see how the movie is going to be wonderful. Reese Witherspoon plays the wife of the animal director and has a horse and elephant act, once figure out that the elephant only understands polish. The book reminded me of the Notebook in the way that it starts out with him being ninety three yrs old and telling the story of his youth with the circus. I think if RP plays his cards right, this performance will be Oscar worthy.

wow.... wonder if RP is going to do the Polish accent. It would make sense. I can see this role as very "meaty" and Reese is due for another nod for an Oscar so why not Robert!!! Hopefully he won't do the Jouquin thing and get all freaky for his music and turn into Howard Hughes! what a waste that was. Keanu did that too. GAD!!! So what kind of actor do think Kristen is? What kind of roles do you see her playing and doing well at?? I read Perez Hilton.. and he doesn't like her.

I thought Kristen was a brilliant child star, like in panic room. I have seen some of her other movies and was not impressed. I haven't seen The Runaways, but I bet she is good in it. At least it was a very different kind of role for her to play. I'll save my opinion until I see The Runaways. As Bella Swan she is perfect for that part and it wouldn't be fair to her to judge her by that role. Bella has always gotten on my nerves, even in the books I want to tear her hair out sometimes, except for Breaking Dawn. I liked her in that one, maybe because when she became a Vampire she stopped the whining so much and was able to get control of the situation. I'm sure I will like Kristen better in the Breaking Dawn movie. Bella grows up when she if faced with protecting her child, or maybe I could relate to her character better because of it.
I don't think Robert will get all freaky. Any guy that is as rich as he is now, that hesitates to buy a house in L.A. because it's so expensive, has a pretty good grip on reality. Like he said, he may not have a job next year. I don't think he has a polish accent so much in the book. His father was polish and also a Vet in the book, but I think they were Americans. He just understands the polish language. But I could be wrong. You never know. I can't wait to see him as a ninety three year old man. In the book he is spunky ninety three, so I think it'll be fun for him to play that role. Of course he isn't ninety three in the whole book. I'd love to read the scrip, but can't find it on the web. I did find the script for Bel Ami and it was really better written than I thought it would be. They cut one part out of it that was in the book and I am glad they did, Georges (Robert's character) actually hits or slaps the Christina Ricci character. I didn't think it would be good in the movie. I don't like to see that on the screen. You know he is a scoundrel in the book and you just hate him, but in the script, you know he is a scoundrel, but you still have sympathy for him. That's how it should be. Just google it and you can find the script online. You mentioned joaquin but what about Ryan Gossling. He is a fine, fine actor and he is out there on tour with his wierdo band. Don't get me wrong, they are good, but I like his acting better.
Roberts voice is strange. I like the songs on the Twilight soundtrack that he did, but he's not consistant. A lot of the other stuff he sings just isn't very good. Sorry Rob. I grew up listening to The Beatles, Jim Morrison, Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santa, Three Dog Night, Chicago, Aretha and Dianna Ross, pretty much all of motown, The Eagles, Roy Orbison and Van Morrison Roberts favorite band. So for him to impress me with music, or anyone my age, well it probably wont ever happen. RP is too talented not to stick with acting. He reminds me of Redford in some ways. He is going to be around for a long while if he chooses to. I think he should slow down though. He's gonna burn himself out working nonstop. But hey, we love it.

Honestly Kristen is "jittery" anyway. I saw her on Regis and Kelly and I kept thinking she looked like a junky trying to be cool and failing miserablely. They have only put the Runaways in 2 movie houses here in Seattle so haven't gone over that way yet to make a decision on her acting. I have read and heard that she is being approached to take over an Angelia Jolie picture. However the Breaking Dawn movies could interfere with that. It sounds like RP has been approached with some pretty cool scripts. I wonder who his manager is? Couldn't an actor do 3 or so movies a year? Still have some down time? And yes... grew up with the same music and even though I like a lot of the newer music some of his cast mates have alot more going on in the singing department. Have you heard Jackson's band... 100 monkeys? silly name not a bad to listen too. Billy Burke good tunes as well. As far as RP and KS goes. I don't think anyone will really know till we see them together as a couple or with someone else.

I've been looking for The Runaways in Dallas but haven't found it yet. Actually now that I think about it this may not be the best movie to see with kristen, since I remember the Runaways and Joan Jett during that time (showing my age).I may be overly critical of her. I want to give her a fair chance, so far I'm not her biggest fan. But she looks good with Robert and they seem to be happy when they are together. I'm sure they are close, but I am not buying the just good buddies claim. Like I said before, I was young and in love once myself, and I think it's written all over these two. I wish them the best, it's a hard thing in their industry to stay together. I also like Billy Burke's music. Not so much with the 100 monkeys, but Jasper is my favorite Vampire other than Edward.
I do like some of the contemporay music, but it's just so hard to beat the great music of my generation. It's still as good today as it was back then. I saw that movie Wanted with Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. I love James McAvoy, he is a really wonderful actor, and I like Angelina. I don't how the story in the sequel with Kristen Stewart will go. I would like to see her in an action film. She has always done artsy independant films. Maybe she has been type cast. I do know she gets nervous in interviews and has a hard time finishing sentences. It gives her a quirky personality and that is probably why Rob likes her so much. She is quirky.

Well, like I said before, if they are not a together they need to stop acting like they are. It means this was all an act to promote them and that is just offensive. They should know that all those Robsten fans that are rooting for them will be upset if they've been misled, and that is exactly what it would be. All the pics of them meeting in Budapest and pics of them together gazing into each others eyes and then don't forget the pics of them at the private airport holding hands and locking arms. Discusting if they're acting. Misleading your fans is a dangerous game. They're already breakup rumors and they haven't even admited dating each other yet. I think people are starting to get suspicious and that ain't cool. Maybe they will admit to dating on Oprah. Wouldn't that be cool?

i agree with both of ladies i believe that perhaps that there was something in the beggining but i am not sure if there still is he said that he auditioned bc he daw kristen in a movie , I think they are really good friends but i dont beleive in this whole "they are so in love BS.". Are you people actually fans of this couple? Kristen already has a house in L.A. Robert says he thinks L.A. is too expensive and he doesn't know if he'll even have a job next year. I do have to beg to differ with you, I don't think age has anything to do with commitment. The longer you wait to fall in love and commit the harder it is. Trust me you just get more screwed up every year that goes by. I hope they do commit. I think it would be cool. Will it last? That again has nothing to do with age. If they work for it, yeah they have a chance. What most young folks don't understand is that relationships are work. Sounds to me like Kristen has been working all her life, pretty much, and she is way more mature than her years. Robert is smart. That is all that I can say for him, and maybe being intelligent is enough. I guess time will tell if these two decide to do anything together. Until then, I'm still waiting to hear from Oprah, no word yet, but as soon as I hear you will be the first to know!
p.s. Maybe since Stephenie Meyer is a producer (which basicly means she invested money in the movie) in Breaking Dawn movie, she is the so called "source." Maybe she is keeping some of these rumors going just to clean up at the box office, now that she is invested. It beats the hell out of writing, it's a lot more work and she hasn't really written anything good since she finished Breaking Dawn. Yeah Yeah, you disagree, I know.

I saw her on an inteview saying she likes her Host book better than Twilight. I read the Host and it was ok, but not that great. I don't think she will ever top Twilight. OFMG! I am so jealous that you are so close to Vancouver! If I were not halfway across the world in Texas I would drive up there with you. Between the two of us we would have that shoot straightened right out. I don't know what they are reshooting, but if it were us in charge they'd have to reshoot every love scene. I'd make it almost x rated so I wouldn't have to sit in a theater with a million teenagers, just to watch the movie. I'd put some more curse words in and maybe some more violence just to make sure. Just joking.
I think the Twilight books remind us how it felt to be young and in love that first time, you know before we got jaded.
Midnight Sun is Twilight from Edwards perspective. Stephenie Meyer wrote the first twelve chapters and gave it to RP so that he could play Edward better. She says she wrote it because she wanted to see a Twilight book from Edward's perspective next to her original Twilight book sitting on her book shelf. Which is B.S. (we all know she wrote it because she has just as big a crush on R.P. as everybody else. ) Anyway she got all twisted out of shape when somebody leaked it on the internet. She stopped working on it because she has to be alone with a story or she can't write it. Her mother wants her to finish it, and personally I think her mother is right. It's the best thing she has ever written. The first twelve chapters are posted on her website. I have them saved on my computer, I would email them to you, but I don't think you would want to post your email address here. So, google Midnight Sun written by Stephenie Meyer and it should take you to her website. I say to google because I haven't figured out how to manipulate her website yet. Her homepage won't show you where to click. But if you google it, it goes right to her website. Read it. It is fabulous! I wish she would finish it.
I agree it's hard to spend time reading a story when you know the main character is going to be dismembered in the end. But Midnight Sun is different. It gives you alot of insight as to what Edward was going through with Bella. I loved it.
On one other note, I wanted to say that I have been writing all my life, but never tried to publish.
Twilight inspired me to go back to school !!!!!
I am taking a script writing class from the my local community college. The professor writes for the T.V. show "Friday Night Lights" and he has written several movies. He teach's film major's. I am an English major, but I think I am going to continue in his class, even though it doesn't go towards my degree. I may end up with a double major, one in film and one in English. I'll tansfer to the University of Texas next year and they have a kick ass film program. I have lots of time on my hands now that my sons are grown and gone and I got rid of the idiot husband, now I can work on me. I know it's a late in life to do this, but as they say better late than never! I told Oprah this story, but I guess she wasn't impressed, i still haven't heard from her.

If you don't have to work, maybe you should consider going back to school. If you have your degree, you could get a masters in film. Become a Director and I'll write scripts for you. hahahahah! Yes, I did hear about Bill Condon directing Breaking Dawn, I wonder if he'll direct both movies. I heard Kristen on an interview wondering where they would split the movie if they made two. Well we know they are spitting the book in half. I think they'll end it with the part after Bella gives birth and Rosalie is holding the newborn Renesme' and Jacob wants to kill her, but imprints on her instead. We'll have to go see the final movie to see Bella as a Vampire. That's where I would split it. That way they have more time to work on the growth of Renesme' problem. They can show her as a newborn, then in the last movie show her as a three year old, (that's suppose to be a six month old.) and avoid the problem all together. That's the way I would go. Trying to show growth on a computer generated child would look too, well computer generated. I would hire a small five year old to play her because Renesme' is so intelligent, and then make a comment in there by Charlie about how grown up she is for a six month old child. That would cover it.
See....I'm solving all of Summit's problems and they aint even paying me. Life sucks. Gotta go study now.

I too have a son in college and with his senior yea,internship and a part time job I will be lucky that he will even remember who "Ma" is. And yeah the oaf that was my last husband is long gone.
I understand the crush vs the hobby. I have envisioned helping out TL KS RP and other crew members by offering my little condo as a sanctuary but then I thought they could have a 5 star hotel in Vancouver and be just as content and have the things they are use too. I was very interested in the fact that you are going to school for screen writing. I have a few job interviews coming in but it has been almost 8 months now and I have been complainting going to school. Do they have schools on how to become a director or do you have to be an actor first? Being "bossy" , artistic, creative... isn't that what a director is? HAHAHAHAHA okay I am cracking myself up. Okay... so you write the script on Edwards real Grandma who became a vampire around the same time he did and we will start out with her story and we will make it more X rated and action packed!!! A little cougar action! OH and give her an ability!! Have her run across the path of Carlise and Jasper.... eventually come to live with the Cullan Clan in Forks. Have you ever really seen Forks? Most of the shots they have done that were in the film were actually done in Vancouver WA and in BC. I think the BC studio has a lot that was replicated to look like Seattle where a lot of filming is done because WASHINGTON has such stupid laws on entertainment and taxes it scares producers up to Vancouver. it is sooooo stupid !!! Like when have you heard of a film or TV story being set in Vancouver BC? nope it is in Seattle! I remember when Fraiser was on the view out of his condo was a view of some buildings and the Space Needle... if that had been true his condo would of been in the middle of Elliott Bay!!
You know I like where you stopped the first movie at. I thought it might be cool to have it where Alice sees the Volturi coming. That way the first movie could be alll lovey dovey with some action at the end and the next movie being hard core action.

We could end Breaking Dawn either of those two places. But I think Summit will end it with Jacob imprinting on Nessie. The main reason is because they can keep you hooked if you want to see Bella as a Vamp.
You should look into going to film school. Check with your University and local community colleges. Because of our age, unempolyment and female status, we qualify for lots of grants and loans. Whatever you don't need for tuition and books can go to living expense. I qualified for 25,000 in grants and loans. Since you (and I) are unempolyeed, you should qualify for housing aid. Not sure how it works in your state, but in mine I qualify for low income apartment *(in Texas every apartment complex, including the really posh ones has to offer a small percentage as low income) which is great, I could get a really nice apartment for around 300.00 a month. I didn't get it because my home is paid for and don't need housing. I will just use the leftover grant and loan money to live on while I am in school. I picked my local community college to start because tuition is so low, and because of the guy that teach's script writing course. I pay around 3,000 a year for tuition then another two thousand for books and supplies. That leaves quite a bit left over for living expense, since my home is paid for it helps. President Obama put around two billion increasing the Pell grant and changed student loan interest to very low. You don't pay back until you finish school. It would be cool to be in college the same time you son is there. I'd pick a different college from him if possible. My grandson will be eleven yrs old when I graduate. Sounds silly, but I like the idea of being a good example for him. If Grandma can do it a fifty five, he can damn sure do it at eighteen. He will have no excuses, poor kid.

I forgot to answer your question. No you do not have to be an actor to go to film school and become a Director. I think bossy and creative qualify you. Again, check with you local community colleges and Universities.

Speaking of trips, I have not been to Vancouver. As a matter of fact I have been to all states in the U.S. with the exception of Washington state. Been to most of Europe, and I understand why Robert likes England so much, the people are so reserved and polite there. I'm sure they thought I was a total goon! Texans aren't known for their shy natures or their reserved manners and attitudes. We pretty much tell it like it is, without thought to how we affect those around us. George H.W. Daddy was a pilot for a major airline. Then when my boys were older, we took lots of vacation trips. They still love to travel as well. I'm so glad I got to do it, I wouldn't trade anything for those memories. I'll have lots to talk about in the old folks home.
