Bret Michaels Gets Support from Celebrity Apprentice Competitors On His Road to Recovery

Cutthroat as it may be in the boardroom, the stars of this year's Celebrity Apprentice know better than to kick Bret Michaels when he's down.

Musician Cyndi Lauper said of the still-hospitalized rock star, "I am hoping for a speedy recovery... He is a strong-willed person so I am feeling very positive that he will pull through like a champion." And Australian chef Curtis Stone, who was more than happy to want Michaels fired after their failed country-star makeover task, was quoted as saying, "He's a nice man and I've got great wishes for him."

As for Michael's condition, while he is still in critical condition, Saturday's report of him being awake and talking seem to have been confirmed at least as of today. His official website notes he is still facing more tests to determine what caused the brain hemorrhage that led to his hospitalization last Thursday.

I wonder what his old bandmates are thinking, myself. Years of being on the road with Bret Michaels must have left the other members of Poison with some thoughts on his health. I hope it's just that nobody has chosen to ask them that we don't hear from them.
