Last night, I posted about The Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz being arrested for a Domestic Violence issue with his girlfriend porn star Jenna Jameson. Ortiz posted bail of $25,000 and was released. Today the story deepens. Jameson's father was the person that called police as any father would but it appears there is more to the story.
Ortiz and his attorney held a press conference Monday night after his release. His attorney Chip Matthews told reporters, "Jenna has been fighting a battle with Oxycontin addiction for the past year. For Tito and her family this has been an uphill battle. Unfortunately this morning she had a relapse. Tito was trying to help her, she has threatened suicide before. Tito has done everything in his power to protect her privacy and the privacy of their children."
The father who called police? Well it is reported that he later brought clothes to Ortiz at the Jail and that he was not in the room at the time of the alleged incident. Supposedly Jamesons family after hearing of the drug use have decided to stand behind Ortiz. Ortiz maintains he is not guilty of domestic violence and the "evidence" officers chose to arrest him on is not consistent with domestic violence. In order for police to arrest someone on suspicion of domestic violence there has to be some type of physical proof of the assault. The only mark reportedly on her was a scratch to her elbow. So the question is.. Did Tito actually assault her or was the scratch the result of Jameson being unsteady due to her drug use?
