British actress Lynn Redgrave, 67, passed away May 2 of breast cancer.
Redgrave, daughter of actor Sir Michael Redgrave, sister of actress Vanessa Redgrave and aunt of actresses Joely and Natasha Richardson, was diagnosed with cancer in December, 2002.
Redgrave was a Officer of the Order of the British Empire, having received that honor in 2001. She starred in over 40 motion pictures, was active in London theatre early in her career and was a naturalized United States citizen.
She found brief small-screen success in the United States on the television show 'House Calls', a hospital comedy that ran from 1979 to 1982
and co-starred Wayne Rogers of 'MASH' fame and David Wayne, television's original 'Penguin' on the old 'Bat Man' show.
Redgrave was also a Weight Watchers spokesperson in the 1980s. Her brother, Corin Redgrave, recently passed away on April 6, 2010, also of cancer.
