Jani Lane, Frontman for Warrant, Arrested for...

Trouble seems to follow rocker Jani Lane as he was once again arrested for DUI. Already on probation for last years DUI, Lane supposedly hit a parked car. When officers arrived, he was given a field sobriety test, which he failed. Later when he was given a breathalyzer test, he blew more than twice the legal limit of .08. Ironically according to TMZ.com, he was arrested for DUI by the same officer last year for the same offense.

This time Lane may have bitten off more than he can chew. Earlier this year he missed 2 scheduled court appearances to satisfy the court that he had fulfilled requirements that he perform community service and attend Alcohol Classes. Apparently he learned alot in alcohol class, since he still continues to drink and drive. I wonder when they are going to teach him to learn some willpower or at least learn how to call a cab?

I think this time the judge is going to have to teach him a lesson and make him serve time or he isn't ever going to learn his lesson.

Hmmm...I think someone needs to get through to this guy that the 80s are over, Warrant is over, (for the most part anyway), and his 15 minutes of fame was over around 20 years ago. I think some of these ex "Glam Rock" idols think that somehow the rules dont apply to them, and I heartily agree that Mr. Lane needs a stiff dose of reality. He needs to be "grounded". he needs to realize that the rules DO apply to him and he trods the same planet as every one else....That being said, Ive been told time and again that alcoholism is a real disease, and in that respect, I can feel a little pity for the man, but that doesnt give him the right to put other peoples lives in danger with his drunken escapades........Its wake up time Jani!!!! Put the bottle DOWN man!!

Maybe he shouldn't be driving, if he can't stay sober.

Maybe 20 years ago he would have gotten a slap on the wrist. Now people say Jani who? He will probably loose his license.
