Maybe Justin Bieber will go away for a little while and Greyson Michael Chance can take his place. 6th grader Greyson performed Lady Gaga's Paparazzi at a school function and now the video is a You Tube hit! Even if you are not a Lada Gaga fan, it would be difficult not to like Greyson's interpretation of her song.
The 12 year old plays piano like a pro and has a wonderful voice. According to CBS News, Greyson seems to be a musical prodigy, with piano compositions on his own YouTube channel--and he has a really cool name. When I watched the videos on You Tube, it seemed his compositions are a bit  more thought provoking than the songs of fellow teen singer/songwriter, Taylor Swift.
Now Greyson has been invited to be a guest on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show on Thursday. Hopefully the teens and tweens will have a new teen idol to worship, one who doesn't depend on bubble gum pop.
