John Goodman has slimmed down, and has lost so much weight that he looks like a new man: young and healthy!
When I think of John Goodman I think back to the days of his almost 10 year run on the TV series Roseanne, playing Dan Conner. Goodman’s weight has fluctuated over the years, as we’ve seen through his movies, but he’s always been known as a big guy.
At the age of 57, Goodman looks like a new man after all these years. He showed up at the AFI Life Achievement Awards last night in honor of director Mike Nichols (The Graduate).
The Examiner reported Goodman’s weight loss, referencing how The Globe, back in 2008 wrote a demeaning piece call “400-lb Goodman Eating Himself to Death’, causing concerns to family and friends around him.
Entertainment Weekly article was reminiscing about the roles Goodman had played in the past, and if he can hold true to those characters now – like if there were ever the possibility of a sequel to The Big Lebowski, could he hold his weight – literally.
Goodman will just have to play characters that suit his new body as staying thin, trim and healthy now is better then reprising his roles as ‘the big guy’.
