Reports are surfacing that an agent for Curb Your Enthusiasm star and Seinfeld creator Larry David's ex-wife, the comically similarly named environmental activist Laurie David, has denied a story blaming the former Mrs. David for the demise of former vice president Al Gore’s marriage. An inconvenient truth?
“This report is completely, patently false,†her rep is quoted as saying. “I have no idea where it started from or why, but it is absolutely, positively, and patently untrue.†The LA Times gossip blog reports that the story is set to hit newsstands tomorrow in the scandalous Star magazine.
"The story is completely untrue," David herself assured the Huffington Post. "It's a total fabrication. I adore both Al and Tipper. I look at them both as family. And I have happily been in a serious relationship since my divorce." She maintains that she has been happily attached since 2007.
Earlier this month, on June 1, Al and Tipper Gore announced their plans for separation. The story alleges a two year affair between Gore and David.
