Outside Magazine has angered Lance Armstrong. The 38 year old cyclist who appeared on the cover of Outside Magazine this month wasn't happy when he saw the finished product.
Lance Armstrong wasn't happy with the fact that Outside Magazine used photo shop to alter the front of his t-shirt to say "38. BFD." Lance took to his Twitter account to say:
"Just saw the cover of the new Outside mag w/ yours truly on it. Nice photoshop on a plain t-shirt guys. That's some lame bull****."
Lance also went on to say that altering the photo with telling him first was a "weak" move. Armstrong of course is known for his Tour de France success but also for his battle with cancer which is won.
Armstrong is now a cancer advocate who even inspired the 'Live Strong' bands that we either all own, or have seen so many people wearing. Lance has always been sort of a role model to the country with his inspiring survival story.
I agree with Lance on this one. Outside Magazine should have told him what was going on. It's the least they could have done. On the other hand, what text they placed on the shirt didn't seem to be that big of a deal, to me anyway. I don't think Lance seems to agree.
