The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced its 2011 Walk of Fame recipients Thursday. Notable names include Neil Patrick Harris, Oprah, and Tina Fey. Harris was so thrilled about the announcement that he posted this tweet, “Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - awesome. Having it be in the same year as the Muppets - priceless.†Exactly. How cool is that?
Others who are eligible to receive their stars in 2011 are Penelope Cruz, Ed Harris, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ridley Scott, Reese Witherspoon, Danny DeVito, Melissa Etheridge, Rascal Flatts, Go-Go’s, Slash, Will i. Dates for ceremonies for each star are yet to be announced. Interestingly, the stars with stars have 5 years to schedule a time for their ceremony. (You know, so they have time to pick out the right outfit, and get the appropriate plastic surgery.)
