Katie Holmes' ex-fiancee Chris Klein has voluntarily entered himself into a rehab facility in order to get treatment for alcohol abuse. His rep released the following statement, "After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone".
The actor, who starred in the hit movie American Pie, was arrested last week in Los Angeles for drunk driving.
Ok... awesome decision making (note the sarcasm). I cannot for the life of me understand why people think drunk driving is ok. He was seen weaving on the Hollywood freeway and promptly pulled over... others are not so lucky. If you want to drink, fine. But don't endanger the lives of others who did NOT choose to drink and drive. Hopefully he'll get the help he needs and can turn his life around for the better.
