Adam Lambert Gets Rave Reviews from a "GlamNation" (VIDEO)

Adam Lambert has been out on his Glam Nation tour for more than a month now, so it stands to reason he's worked out all the bugs. But what do the reviewers have to say?

Kristina Dorsey of The Day says:

"Glambert's got his groove back.

Let's face it, there was a "good-lord-he's-not-going-to-fail-is-he" period for Adam Lambert, after his controversial American Music Awards performance and a slow start for his debut single.

But the glam guy's got momentum back on his side. His follow-up singles have done well, and, lo and behold, his fresh solo tour - which played MGM Grand at Foxwoods on Thursday - resurrects the over-the-top but totally fun Lambert that "Idol" audiences embraced."

Gabrielle Dunn of TV Squad caught the show in The Big Apple:

"Those who watched 'Idol' know that Lambert is a consummate performer, and this show is no exception. There are multi-colored lasers, sparkly outfits, stage-kissing antics and barely clothed dancers. But most importantly, there's also some crazy-good singing.

Semi-disappointingly, Lambert keeps his show at around a PG-13 rating, when everything about his songs, costumes and persona begs for a much raunchier concert. There's also an acoustic breakdown mid-show that, though good, kind of kills the mood just as the audience is getting amped up. Still, Lambert put on an incredible show, and proved there's at least one pop star out there who can actually sing.

It's also a rare treat for 'Idol' fans to get to see two of their favorites perform their own unique, magical sets on the same tour. Considering how lackluster season 9 proved to be, watching Iraheta and Lambert belt their hearts out at GlamNation was like, well, music to an 'Idol' fans' ears."

Even MTV is weighing in. Here's how Jim Cantiello calls it:

"Pulling liberally from his debut For Your Entertainment, the singer whipped concertgoers into a frenzy during uptempo numbers like the fan fave "Strut," Lady Gaga-leftover "Fever" and current single "If I Had You." Yet he also managed to maintain the crowd's attention even as he slowed things down for an extended acoustic set that featured a stripped-down take on his biggest hit, "Whataya Want From Me."

On both nights — performing identical set lists — Adam boldly opened his hour-long show with a medley that included a deep cut from a remix EP and an iTunes bonus track ("Voodoo" and "Down the Rabbit Hole," respectively), before transitioning into the Johnny Cash "Ring of Fire" cover that earned him millions of fans on "American Idol" in 2009. He closed the night by revisiting two more "Idol" numbers: a sped-up, almost jubilant "Mad World" and a slowed-down, slinky "Whole Lotta Love" that dripped with sexuality, as well as killer musicianship from his winning band."
