Actress Afshan Azad 23, was allegedly attacked by her father and brother and threatened with death. The father Abul Azad, 54, and her brother Ashraf Azad, 28, were both accused of threatening to kill the young "Harry Potter" actress.
The brother is alos chared with assault in actually harming Afshan. The case is currently adjourned until later this month. The attack occurred in her home in Longsight, Mnchester, on May 21, 2010. Afshan was cast in 2005 in "Harry Potter And The Goblet of Fire."
Afshan Azad also appeared in three more "Harry Potter" movies, including "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows" which is due for release later this year according to Fox News. Afshan plays Padma. She plays a witch and is the identical sister of Parvati Patil who is played by Shefila Chowdhury.
Afshan is not a professional actress and did not expect to get the job as Padma, but tried out for fun. She is happy about her acting career. The article did not say why the assault happened.

They dont' love their women. that's kind of The POINT. With few exceptions, Muslim women are treated like livestock with smaller living quarters.
I think there's more to this than meets the eye. Domestic violence against women in this country is still a big problem also.
