Lindsay Lohan Complains About Jail Sentence and Judge Marsha Revel

I kind of agree....not just Lindsay but all celebrities get an unfair advantage when it comes to breaking the law....however..Lindsay is still just a kid and since hollywood has been "getting away with it" for SOOO long it is not unusual for her to expect to get away with more as well....although I have to agree that letting celebs get away with so much doesnt really help them any...especially in the growing up department.....celebs are prone to thinking they can do whatever they want and yes that should stop but why make an example of Lindsay and Paris when there are grown men like Mel Gibson and Robert Downey running amuck???? Judges should be fair and treat ALL celebs like everyone else not just the ones they don't like!

I agree with you... I think part of the problem is that children today (and for generations past) idolize these stars. They want to dress like them, act like them, etc. So that when a star thinks that they are somehow "above the law" or "entitled" it makes today's kids assume that they too are somehow "entitled."

The same goes for special treatment of athletes.

As far as Mel 'mental case' Gibson and Robert 'strung out' Downey Jr.... the later has done his time...and Mel... well, he needs someone to drop the hammer on him!

When these folks do drugs or get drunk and then get behind the wheel of a vehicle, it becomes everyone's problem. Think for a minute about being the one to meet this vehicle as it's traveling the wrong way on the freeway and maybe you have your family in the car with you. Now do you think the judge should continue to allow them to go free? These people are already living in an alternate reality but they should be held accountable to the same laws as the rest of the population; for cripes sake we're not talking about much time at all here - 30 days, 90 days. As for Ms. Lohans friends worrying about whether or not she will be allowed to smoke in jail, they should be hoping she will get a clue and stop! This young woman is so far gone I'm not sure we're going to have her around much longer - it seems no one can save her from herself and that's the real shame.

I agree completely with you about Lindsay Lohan's path of destruction. I hope she can pull herself out of it!
