The battle between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva is continuing, this time within the grasp of the law. Â Mel Gibson has been accused of domestic violence and has been taped screaming vulgar and racial slurs at Oksana Grigorieva the mother of his 8-month-old daughter. Â Oksana states that Mel had hit her while holding their then 2-month-old daughter and causing bruising to be seen on the daughter's chin.
Everyone has been in an uproar over these tapes and allegations. If Mel has been violent towards Oksana or his child then by all means he should be charged with a crime.  But now we have to wonder if there is complete truth being told by Oksana.  Why?  There is news out there that the Sheriff department is investigating Oksana for extortion.
The Sheriff department believes that Oksana has been involved in a plot to extort from Mel. Â The Sheriff's department has not released any details on this matter and have not charged Oksana for any crime.
So what in the world is going on? Â There are claims that the tapes have been edited and Mel is being set up, there are claims of domestic violence towards Oksana and in extension the daughter, now extortion. Â When is this going to end? Â It is difficult to say just how much damage will be done to each of these parties before they are finished.
