Sarah Palin's Almost Son-in-Law Levi Johnston to Run for Mayor?

Oh please, say it ain't so! As if a reality TV show pitch and constantly being in the spotlight aren't enough, Levi Johnston is now considering running for mayor in Wasilla, Alaska. If this name isn't ringing a bell, Levi Johnston is the baby daddy of Sarah Palin's grandson Tripp. He recently appeared on the cover of US Weekly announcing his engagement to Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol, but the two have since called it quits.

So obviously, the next step is to run for mayor...

Sarah Palin was mayor of this small town from 1992-2002 before she became governor and the Vice President candidate with John McCain in 2009.

Basically, this whole thing is a publicity stunt for his pitched reality show, Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office. Levi even admitted that it was the producers' idea for him to run for mayor, not his!! The show was supposed to capture Levi and Bristol engagement and early married life, but since they have broken up (again) it seems the producers are desperate for ideas.

Would ANYONE even vote for him??
