Neil Patrick Harris (also commonly known by the moniker NPH) is more than just a former child star, comedian, entertainer and actor. Â He's also going to be a father this fall, having recently told E! Online that the pair will be welcoming not one but two new additions to their family this fall via an unnamed surrogate. Â Harris has also confirmed the news by revealing the news to his followers on Twitter.
"So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall," Harris announced via . "We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy..."
Harris, who currently stars as the hilarious Barney Stinson on the CBS Comedy How I Met Your Mother, has been with partner David Burtka since April of 2004. Â Burtka is a former Broadway actor who left acting last year in order to become a chef.
