Yet Another Obama Vacation – Reading and...

President Barack Obama and his family are at another scheduled vacation spot. This time Obama is vacationing at Marthaâ€™s Vineyard. President Obama is taking up some reading and golfing while on vacation.

President Obama was seen with his two adorable daughters, Malia, 12, and Sasha, 9, at the local bookstore. WNYT reports that Obama left the store with three books: Freedom for himself, To Kill a Mockingbird for Malia and The Red for Sasha.

Even while off duty, Obama is constantly briefed about world and homeland affairs. Hopefully, he will be able to get in a few days of relaxation with his family before returning to watch over the USA. There was no mention of whether or not Obama bought his wife another book.

Yahoo News.com stated that being the president of America, Obama had to take along a group of staff members who keep him up to date with current events. Though on vacation, Obama is still working as he should be. Barack is our president after all.

Hopefully, the Obamaâ€™s will be able to get in a little family time and just enjoy each others company. Although work and running â€œthe freeworldâ€ is extremely important. So is maintaining a happy and healthy home life.

At least while he and Congress are on vacation they can do no real damage. Hope they all stay gone a long time!

Wonder if Dubya read any books while on vacation in Martha's Vineyard...other than Comic books.

He had a reading competition with some of his staff and it wasn't comic books. BTW comic books have great story lines if you care to look past the pictures. and reading is reading. I welcome anyone who reads anything beside twitter and facebook comments.

Yes, and I think the President & family should stop spending money on vacations while the country is in such a mess. Our tax dollars go for most of these vacations even if they pay for their own rooms and restaurants the American People pay for everything else. I know a lot of families who would like to spend some time in Spain and in Martha's Vineyard but with the economy the way it is where lucky if we have a job, feed our families and pay our mortgages. He should be cutting back like the rest of us. I have no sympathy for how many hours a week he works. HE IS THE PRESIDENT!

With wireless communication he, doesn't have to be chained to his desk 24/7. You can get as much or more done out the office as in the office now days.

We are all tired, and a lot of Americans can't sleep because they don't have jobs. So who nees a vacation?
