For months the Internet has been buzzing with Mariah Carey pregnancy speculations. The speculations started back in May when Mariah dropped out of Tyler Perry's film "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf." Her rep hinted at personal life reasons for her backing out of the film.
After that point she wasn't in the spotlight much at all until her performance in Barretos, Brazil this weekend.
Photos from the concert show Mariah wearing demure, loose fitting empire waisted dresses and princess dresses as well as baggy shirts. Now when has she ever dressed in baggy clothing? This is one of the major points that fueled the pregnancy rumors online. Mariah does seem to be much rounded in the abdomen region. Maybe it's just the lighting, or the camera angle, or maybe... it's not. Granted, she has never really been a petite woman, but she takes every opportunity to show off what she's got. What would make her change her style seemingly overnight? Baby? Maybe.
Mariah hasn't helped the rumors at all, either. After the show she tweeted "Seriously, I really do love it here, beautiful people inside and out! Tonite was tuff 4 me 4 personal reasons, but U got me thru!L4L." There's that personal reasons thing again.
Nick Cannon speaks on the subject and inadvertently lets the cat out of the bag in the process.
"I've said it before and I'll say it time and time again — when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her," Cannon said. That seemed cryptic enough, but he went on.
"We all know it's extremely personal, and it is for a woman to deal with things with her body, and especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff."
"That's something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you're 100% sure, in any situation," he continued. "There's a certain time limit you're supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are and all that stuff. You don't want to mislead anybody."
For someone who seems to not want to discuss or reveal anything he sure does talk about it. Is that a vaguely obscured happy father we hear talking? In the process Nick all but puts his foot in his mouth by going on about why they aren't saying anything. It's well known that stars generally hold off baby announcements as long as possible and generally don't make the announcement until they are in the second trimester and it can no longer be hidden from the world.

Weigh in, is she or isn't she?
