Remy Gonzalez, one of the bakers on the popular TLC show “Cake Boss†is in a sticky situation and it doesn’t involve gum paste or fondant. Word just got out that Gonzalez has been in the Morris County Jail in New Jersey, on multiple charges.
According to TMZ.com those charges include aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child. Gonzalez has been behind bars since last Wednesday, and will be there until he can post the set $300,000 bond.
TLC told TMZ that, they “support Buddy [the main “Cake Bossâ€] and the Valastro family during this very difficult and challenging time… and as this doesn’t involve us, we will not be commenting any further.â€
A quick look at the Cake Boss section of the TLC website shows that Remy’s picture isn’t featured on the “Meet the Bakers†bio page. Whether or not his absence from the page has anything to do with the charges is speculation, but it does seem like a good possibility.

If the charges have anything to do with Gonzalez’s apparent removal from the page, one wonders if that was a corporate decision or a personal Valastro family one. Remy is married to Buddy Valastro’s sister. The family certainly can’t be taking this news too well.
