David Hasselhoff Joins Dancing With the Stars

David Hasselhoff will be a contestant in the upcoming 11th season of Dancing With the Stars.

According to MSNBC, Hasselfhoff will join Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and there have been recent rumors of Michael Bolton competing on the show as well.

David Hasselhoff was the star of "Baywatch" and more recently served as a judge of "America's Got Talent." He was replaced this year on AGT by funny man Howie Mandell. Hasselhoff has been in the news in recent years more for his bad behavior than for his talent. His famous "cheeseburger" video clip, where he was drunk and wanting to eat a cheeseburger, was filmed by his young daughter in an attempt to prove to him how his drinking problem had gotten out of hand.

The New York Daily News reports that the Hoff will also be joined on Dancing With the Stars by actress Kirstie Alley. The announcement of the official lineup of "stars" for DWTS won't be made by the network until August 30.

Episode 11 of Dancing With the Stars begins on September 20 on the ABC network.

Dancing With the Stars should be a good experience for David Hasselhoff. He will have minimal opportunity to put his foot in his mouth, as both of them will be adequately involved on the dance floor, performing with his professional dance partner.

But can the Hoff dance? That remains to be seen when David Hasselhoff joins Dancing With the Stars in less than a month.
