The Paris Hilton arrest was caught on surveillance video, and it may be what saves her from jail in a legal loophole or so says her lawyer. Police stopped Hilton in Las Vegas because they smelled marijuana, but the police took her into the security office. The Wynn security cameras caught the whole arrest, and police went through her purse. In the security office, Hilton claimed the purse was not hers.
There you have it. If you have enough money in America, you can get out of anything even being caught with cocaine and smelling like marijuana. However, is this really helpful to celebrities like Hilton? How will they get help and stop the drug use, if lawyers get their money, and they get no help? What will stop Paris from doing drugs? The way she'll finally stop is by killing someone or herself. How sad is that for her and for anyone in her car's path?
RadarOnline reports, "Her lawyer David Chesnoff is going to claim it was an illegal search, in part because she was taken away from the scene to this other location. Chesnoff will also be
able to take apart every single thing that happened during the search and arrest because he'll have the video to work off of. Furthermore, Paris repeatedly said while she was being detained that the purse wasn't hers."
The lawyer will use the surveillance tape to get her off the charges. He will say the arrest was illegal, and that Paris denied the purse with the cocaine was heres. Â Do celebrities get special treatment, and is this fair? No, it's not blind justice; it's celebrity justice.
