Kanye West is on Twitter trying to once again make amends for his 2009 VMA outburst and trophy grab. Kanye West bombarded his Twitter account with several tweets expressing the regret and pain his VMA outburst has caused him.
ABC News states that on Saturday, Kanye West, 33, took to his Twitter account and tweeted several things to his 955,000 plus followers. All tweets expressed regret for his actions more that a year ago at the 2009 VMA’s when Kanye went on stage and grabbed Taylor Swift’s microphone right out of her hands then to add insult to injury, he said into the mic that Beyonce was more deserving of the trophy. West’s words left a stunned and visibly shaken Swift silent for awhile as audience jeered and booed.
Yahoo! News states that Kanye West tweeted at least 70 tweets about the incident. Despite apologizing on TV, Kanye West admitted on Twitter that his actions had impacted him in a way he had never expected. He acknowledged receiving death threats, having to let go of his multiple employees, not being able to sell out concerts, having to cancel a planned tour with Lady Gaga, closing down his clothing line and losing drones of fans.
OMG! From an onlooker's view, this is a pretty pathetic and hilarious attempt to gain forgiveness. Kanye West is only following two people on Twitter and one of them is, yes, you guessed it: Taylor Swift. The other person Kanye West is following is Justin Bieber. That’s just funny in a creepy way. Why isn’t he following any of his multitude of Twitter celebrity friends? Desperation to get some fans back? Probably.
It’s not too difficult to read between the lines, especially when dealing with such a self-absorbed person. Kanye West even makes it even easier for us to see know what his true intentions are via the tweet below. Why you buy his excuses and bring him the love and income he so desperately wants? The bottom line, his wallet is thinner and less people tolerate his big mouth now. It's not something he’s used to. It's obvious West wants to be back in control.
NY Daily News reports that Kanye’s tweets about his actions that night were blamed on “strong will, a lack of impathy, a lil alcohol and extremely distasteful & bad timing.†However reading over West’s Twitter page, it’s almost as if he’s at odds with himself. One moment he’s apologetic then the next he’s self righteous over what he did.

"My ego is my imaginary friend,
He was with me when I was only imagining,
I had dreams of the league,
One day I play Kobe,
I walk up the puff and he already know me,
Coulda let the dream killers, kill my self esteem,
Or use the arrogance as a steam that power my dreams,
And my ego"
