Emma Watson recently slammed Twilight for "selling sex" while promoting Harry Potter's wholesomeness! The actress is obviously not a fan of Twilight. Emma Watson is a talented, intelligent actress who simply likes to speak her mind and why can't she?
According to MTV, Watson doesn't like what Twilight is promoting. Here's what Watson aka Hermione Granger, stated about the kiss she shared with co-star Rupert Grint aka Ron Weasley in the final film installment of Harry Potter:
"This kiss between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it's been building up for eight films now...And Harry Potter is not Twilight, you know. We're not selling sex," Watson, 21, added the kissing scene was anything but sexy, "In fact, it was horribly awkward; we couldn't stop laughing."
Emma Watson can speak her mine like anybody else. And like everybody else, she is entitled to her opinions. Twilight is aimed at teenagers while Harry Potter is aimed for a younger audience than the Vampire films so Watson is correct in what she says.
However, one can argue her negative statements about Twilight probably have to do with the fact that Harry Potter's The Deathly Hallows will be making its way to theaters very soon, November 19th to be exact! What do you think about her statements?

The Harry Potter stuff is targeted at a younger audience, but at the same time, the mental age of the story line is a little bit higher, in my view. Emma Watson, by the way, is the best actor of the three leads in Potter.
This is how the Harry Potter books will continue to be an example of how to rule the books. Harry Potter effectivly targeted everyone, a classic battle of good vs. evil. Clear protagonist and antagonist. We had focus points, and it was not to graphic in details about certain things.
Look at Twilight. Yes, to an extent there is good v evil as well, but it is not as clearly defined and mostly focuses on a love triangle between Bell, Edward and Jacob. Clearly they were reaching for the whole feminine audience.
To sum it all up, you cannot argue with Emma Watson. HP will be the text book guide on how to hook families and not just a particular audience.
Case in point......Around a water cooler or discussed more in homes, which you think was more of a story.
Snape either being a good guy or bad guy.
Dumbledore being killed.
Bell chosing Edward or Jacob
Bell finally becomming a vampire.
Don't know about you, but my money is on the HP questions.
