Emma Watson Slams "Twilight" {Video}

Emma Watson, better known as Hermione Granger of “Harry Potter,” apparently hasn’t been sucked into the “Twilight” franchise like so many others. The actress says that the final film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows,” will not be using sex to sell the film. 

Watson admits that while her kiss with co-star Rupert Grint does help give the film a racier edge it doesn’t not rely on the romance and sex appeal like “Twilight” does. 

Watson tells Empire magazine, “"This kiss between Hermione and Ron is highly anticipated, it's been building up for eight films now. And Harry Potter is not Twilight, you know; we're not selling sex. 

According to the Post Chronicle, the “Harry Potter” franchise is a mega-competitor of “Twilight,” and like its rival was adapted from a book series. Both franchises have huge cult followings. 

Maybe somebody should clue Watson in on the fact that the entire premise of the “Twilight” franchise IS romance. If it weren’t for the love story between the two main characters, would anybody really care? Watson needs to keep quiet, and make her millions without slamming others.
