William Shatner believes in aliens. Shatner, who starred as Captain Kirk on the “Star Trek†television series, recently did an interview with the Montreal Gazette. In the interview, the actor discussed his thoughts on the subject of intelligent life.  Â
“There is no doubt that there is life out there; the mathematics of it lead you to that absolute conclusion.†Shatner continues, “In my mind, there is no doubt that the universe teems — teems! — with life in all it’s forms.â€Â
Shatner also states what he thinks the aliens would want for a snack after a long voyage to Earth, “Why would you fly the years or millenniums? Why not just land and say, ‘Here we are, we’re tired, got any ice cream?â€Â
According to RightPundits.com, the 79-year-old actor can be seen on a new series called “William Shatner: Weird or What?†on the Canadian History Television Channel.Â
As everyone knows, William Shatner has spent most of his life with a massive cult following. He can sometimes be kooky and unique, and undoubtedly due to his work in “outer space†spends a lot of time contemplating the existence of aliens. It will be interesting to see his new series.

A great piece of writing until your last sentence. I would urge you to research the Drake equation. After reading it, you MIGHT reconsider Shatner's statement after all.
Until! Until the Last Two Sentences! Why did You, as the Interviewer/Writer Feel the Need, the Necessity to take an Ugly Swipe at this Man? There Must have been Some Reason? Did He Offend You during the Interview? Was He Rude? If Not, then You Were Clearly Rude To Him? You Clearly Owe Him An APOLOGY? A Published Apology! I'm Surprised and Disappointed Your Editor let You say those things. It was Unnecessary, Unneeded, and Unwanted!
Get real. This is just fun. That's all.
