Susan Boyle Sobbing After Lou Reed Snub - Her 'Perfect Day' Ruined on 'America's Got Talent'

Susan Boyle was recently seen in tears as she left America's Got Talent. Boyle was set to sing at the show until Lou Reed snubbed her. Reed wouldn't let Susan Boyle sing the song "Perfect Day." So, why did Lou Reed snub Boyle?

According to TMZ, Reed decided at the last moment that he didn't want Boyle to sing his song because he wasn't a fan of hers! As crazy as that sounds, shouldn't she have been given the opportunity to sing it at America's Got Talent?

Apparently, Susan Boyle was all set to go until Reed stepped in and put a stop to her plans. She had flown from London on Wednesday and was set to perform on America's Got Talent until the issues with Reed came up.

According to USA Today, Judge Piers Morgan confirmed that there were "some issue about the releasing" of the song. However, one can argue that Lou Reed was just out to ruin Boyle's day and ruin it he did!

Boyle was apparently so upset over the snub that she left America's Got Talent sobbing! Now, why would Reed want to do such a thing to Susan Boyle? What harm has she done to him?

It's not  known at his point but what is known is that Lou Reed can be a mean person!

Didn't he have to okay her singing the song before the show? If he wasn't a fan he should have told her no earlier than right before show time. What could she have done to him anyway? He should have just let her sing the song. The man sounds pretty nasty to me.

Doesn't it sound nasty? She's just a normal person with a normal life who ended up having an extraordinary voice! Does he not like that?

Right on, Sophie. Lou Reed is so mean. What is wrong with letting Susan sings his song live since she has already recorded the song on her upcoming album. You are right that some people are just jealous of Susan's success.

Yes, it's hard for me to understand why he would do that to Susan. It just makes me wonder if he would treat her differently if she didn't have such a unique look...

More Susan Boyle hype. The only time this woman is in the news is when shes flipping out on someone. It was probably all done on purpose because no one was paying attention to her anymore.

Really? Thought she just had an album released! Maybe her album didn't do as well and that's why there's a hype? Or he could just have been mean to her.

Or MAYBE he just doesnt like these reality TV talent show divas who think they are bigger than Lady GaGa who BTW doesnt steal covers to get rich. She writes her own songs.

I was at America's Got Talent yesterday and while we were in line, we were informed) that she wouldn't be performing. There were many fans wearing red scarves and they came in droves from Northern California, the Desert and some ladies were from London. Me? Secretly ecstatic. Sara MacLaughlin more than made up for Susan Boyle's absence.

Well, it may be Lou Reed's song but he already gave her permission to use it in her album so it actually makes no sense at all why he would snub her...unless it was something personal!

Lou Reed's reps say otherwise:

"Despite reports on gossip websites that former The Velvet Underground lead singer denied her request to perform "Perfect Day" for "America's Got Talent" on Wednesday night, representatives say otherwise.

Reed's reps, who spoke to "Access Hollywood" on Thursday, said that Reed did not turn down a request for Boyle to sing his classic song on the show. The reps claimed that due to a glitch, the song was not cleared for the American market in time for the show, something that had nothing to do with the former Velvet Underground member. The song had been cleared for use in Boyle's native United Kingdom, but not on stateside television, the reps said."

Lou Reed is the only one who should be singing that song anyway. I shudder to think what the Susan Boyle version sounds like.

Lou Reed afraid of Susan Boyle? What Susan Boyle made in CD sales - Lou Reed earns as interest on his net worth. Susan was trying to pull a fast one and got stung in her fat ass. She got what she deserved because she was trying to pull a fast one by not publicly announcing she was going to be on AGT in the first place. She pulled a fast one on BGT but she can't fool everyone all the time. She needs to go on a diet. Her third chin is starting to look like a breast and her face looks like a mongoloid. Gross

She doesn't need his songs anyway.Funny, I know who Susan is, but I don't know who he is.That right there shows who left more of a impression on me.
