Marvin Sapp's wife has died at the age of 43. MaLinda Price has loss her battle with colon caner. Marvin Sapp was by his wife's side when she passed away.
According to USA Today, MaLinda Price Sapp died Thursday night. She worked alongside her famed gospel singer husband, Marvin Sapp, at his church: the Lighthouse Full Life Center Church which is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. MaLinda Sapp was a pastor and a counselor at the church.
MLive.com states that MaLinda was actually the co-founder of the church along with Marvin Sapp. Prior to MaLinda Sapp's death, the church was asking for prayers and had set up a 24-hour vigil in the hopes that she would survive.
Unfortunately after initial tests showed that MaLinda Sapp was free of cancer earlier in 2010, further testing discovered that the cancer was making a fierce reemergence in her colon.
Along with being co-pastor at their church, MaLinda was also Marvin Sapp's manager. MaLinda was also the executive producer on several of Marvin Sapp's gospel recordings.
Some of Marvin Sapp's best known songs are Never Would Have Made It, Here I am and The Best in Me. MeLinda had been married to Marin Sapp for 15 years. Together they have three children.
It is truly tragic and MaLinda Sapp's family and friends must be in a stated of shock and sadness. It's obvious she was deeply loved and cared about. May MaLinda's memory live on in the hearts of those who cared forÂ her. Marvin is surely devastated at this time.
