New York Fashion Week is not only a parade of fashion models and upcoming trends. Also on parade are celebrities and fashion insiders, most of them breathlessly jumping from one show to the next.
Olivia Palermo of, “The City,†was spotted at Fashion’s Night Out: The Show in an off-the-shoulder floral dress. It was a soft and perhaps a bit of a boring look for Tatler’s Girl of the Year. She matched her pastel dress with a Sondra Roberts clutch and Alexandre Birman peep-toes.
On the same night, Olivia also attended the screening for the Katie Holmes movie, “The Romantics.†She kept to the floral theme in a completely different dress and shoes. She wore a Stella McCartney dress with a more colorful palette. Instead of the looser fit of her previous outfit, Olivia went for a more flattering look with the belted number.
Yesterday, Olivia accomplished an even more impressive feat. She attended Peter Som’s show with her shiny brown hair falling straight and long, past her shoulders. Her olive green top and pants were matched with a black jacket, bag and Charlotte Olympia lace-up boots. A few hours later, Olivia was at the Ports 1961 show. She was not only wearing a different outfit but she had a completely different haircut!
Olivia told Hollywood Life that she has been thinking about getting a haircut for a while. But for a busy, fashion-loving social, like her, the salon appointment just happened to be between two shows on the same day.
