It looks like her past has caught up to her! Troubled heiress Paris Hilton has been detained in Japan.
After appearing in court yesterday, Hilton fled the country - on a planned trip to Tokyo. Hilton was going to Japan to launch the Fall/Winter collection of her fashion line. However, once she stepped foot in the airport, Japanese officials thought twice about letting her enter the country!
"The 29-year-old star wa
s stopped by immigration authorities, who are considering refusing Hilton entry into Japan because of her drug charges and sentence" (PopEater). That's right, Paris, Japan doesn't want you running a muck in their country, snorting coke and lying about it.
"[Hilton] was scheduled to appear at a news conference in Tokyo on Wednesday to promote her fashion line, but that appearance was apparently canceled. It was unclear whether she will continue with her promotional tour. She was scheduled to visit several other countries, including Indonesia and Malaysia" according to PopEater.
It's actually comical that Hilton is being detained in Japan. Thinking about how aggravated she must be - and humiliated! - it's just a knee slapper!
