Florence Henderson flashes the unsuspecting crowd on the 'DWTS' premier and all hell breaks looks. In an attempt to imitate Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Henderson lifted her shirt to reveal her abs - and a white bra - during a taped portion of the first episode.
This, of course, set off something of an internet frenzy, as almost anything on Dancing with the Stars does. But having a 76-year old woman lift her shirt on the first episode is certainly an unusual turn of events.
Henderson received rave reviews for her physique at nearly 80, though. Henderson asked judge Carrie Ann Inaba, "So, what do you give me?" to which Inaba responded, "For the boobies? Ten." Inaba later tweeted "Mama Brady flashed her boobies on our show tonight!
Henderson made a much bigger splash than The Situation himself, who didn't bring much to the table besides the abs Henderson imitated. His score of 15 tied him for the lowest marks of the night along with David Hasselhoff and comedian Margaret Cho.
The high scorer for the premier was Jennifer Gray with 24. Former NBA star Rick Fox recorded a 22.
In the end, though, nobody will remember the scores from the first night. But they will remember Henderson's moment, the most famous television flash since Janet Jackson's Super Bowl mishap. It takes guts to reveal your body on television at any age, let alone 76. Kudos to Henderson for having the guts to let it all hang out in front of millions of viewers. Certainly nothing the show can throw at her now can be any more challenging than that.
How long Henderson lasts on the show remains to be seen. But she's already made a significant impact.
