Emily Deschanel, Star of 'Bones' Ties the Knot

Emily Deschanel, star of the TV series "Bones" has tied the knot. She got married Saturday evening in Los Angeles, which is the actress's hometown.

Emily Deschanel Marries David Hornsby

According to Popeater, Emily Deschanel married writer-actor David Hornsby. Their wedding was a "quiet evening ceremony" that took place in front of a group of friends and family members.

David Hornsby is best known for his role on the FX show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." He plays the role of Rickety Cricket. Emily Deschanel stars opposite David Boreanz in "Bones," and will make her directing debut on the series in 2011.

Extravagance is Relative

Celebrity weddings are always intriguing to the general public, because everyone wonders what type of luxuries these stars will indulge in that the average person cannot afford. Sources close to both Emily Deschanel and David Hornsby commented to reporters that while the affair was tastefully done, it wasn't extravagant, since neither the bride nor groom tends to extravagant lifestyles.

This must be taken with a grain of salt, however, because "extravagant" likely means something way different to a TV star than it does the average person.

Nonetheless, congratulations are in order for both "Bones" star Emily Deschanel and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star David Hornsby. May they enjoy many happy years of marital bliss.
