It's Monday night, and you know what that means: it's time for Dancing with the Stars! Last week the competition looked great with some of the best opening night sequences ever. Tony Dovolani and Audrina Patridge took the stage first with a spicy Cha-Cha to California Gurls. 
Lacey Schwimmer and Kyle Massey wowed the judges and the audience with their Cha-Cha and Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas also added some zest to the night. It was, of course, Derek Hough and Jennifer Grey who stole the show with a beautiful Viennese Waltz that earned them the top slot.
On the flip side of great was the not so great which included Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower dancing a sloppy Viennese Waltz, "The Situation" and Karina Smirnoff getting the Cha-Cha all wrong and David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson dancing to Sex Bomb (minus the sex).
In somewhat of a surprise, The Hoff and Kym Johnson were the first couple to go home. Many thought Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower would be voted off, but hey, at least it was someone in the bottom half, right?
Tonight the couples are sure to heat things up!
