Michael Bolton wants an apology from "Dancing With the Stars," and he's not the only one who thinks he deserves one.
Condescending, Embarrassing Remarks Made by Judge Bruno Tonioli
According to CNN, Michael Bolton and pro dancing partner Chelsea Hightower were eliminated from
the "Dancing With the Stars" competition on Tuesday night. That isn't where the problem lies. It lies with the rude and unnecessary remarks made by one of the judges, namely Bruno Tonioli.
No one disagrees that Michael Bolton wasn't a fantastic dancer. In fact, it's quite likely he'd tell you that himself. It was the rude behavior, combined with the fact that Bolton had flown his 90-year old mother in for the show, that was embarrassing and condescending.
Judge Len Goodman Deems Bruno's Remarks "Inappropriate"
UsMagazine reports that Bruno's comment about Michael and Chelsea's dance being the "worst jive I've ever seen," was rude and completely uncalled for, and that it's not just Michael Bolton who thinks so. Most of the contestants weighed in with comments condemning Bruno's actions, and even judge Len Goodman deemed his remarks "inappropriate."
Michael Bolton says simply, "I think he should apologize publicly and he should be reprimanded for it."
Clearly he's not the only one who thinks this way.
What do you think? Was Bruno wrong with his rude and flip comments to Michael Bolton? Should he issue a public apology and be reprimanded?

The original UK series of this show, known as Strictly Come Dancing, starts this evening and one of the contestants is Ann Widdicombe, a retired Tory politician. In parliament she was known by the nickname 'Doris Karloff' - and she is a bit doddery on her pins... She must KNOW she'll be getting the sympathy vote, but she will also be in the firing line of the UK judges, including Tonioli....
