Ladies of a certain age, rejoice: Donnie Wahlberg is back on the market.
The New Kids on the Block star, 41, has finalized his divorce from wife Kim Fey, The Associated Press reported Monday.
The pair were married in 1999; both filed for divorce on the same day in August 2008. They have two sons, Xavier and Elijah.
The two reached an out-of-court settlement in the case. Back in 2008, People reported that Kim was seeking sole physical and legal custody of their sons, as well as spousal support and attorneys' fees.
Donnie's personal life may have hit the skids but his professional life is on the upswing -- he's currently starring in the new CBS drama "Blue Bloods" and two years ago released a long-awaited reunion album with the New Kids, "The Block," for which they have been touring and making promotional appearances almost non-stop.
Judging by the thousands of screaming 20-, 30- and 40-something ladies at every show, I'd say Donnie will have no problem finding a new friend if he wants. (And given the reports of Donnie and fellow New Kid Danny Wood installing a stripper pole on their tour bus, he's probably not wanting for female company.) Hopefully, though, when he does find a new lady, he has better taste than onetime rumored paramour Aubrey O'Day!
What do you think? Was Donnie your favorite New Kid (mine was Joey Joe!)? Are you hoping they'll release another album soon? And can you stand to see the classic old-school "Hangin' Tough" video again? Sound off below!
